I've been trying to find the location of static addresses in a game, but when I enter the hex code from "what writes" there are too many results. By removing the ones that change their value I narrowed them down to 70. Then I opened the address that contained the value again, also opened three of the results and checked what accesses them. Since there are also so many accesses I opened the window that shows what writes to the address with the value and decided to compare the numberes. Like, if I see that an address was writing two times, I check if one of the other windows had two accesses. That way it turned out that none of the results was right and I failed to find even the first layer.

Use the pointerscanner.

Manually finding a pointer (what you're doing with "find out what...") is not recommended for targets other that cheat engine's tutorial, and rare specific cases.

Getting 0 pointers after rescan.

In this case try increasing structure size and pointer level.
Also are you trying to hack a browser/flash game? If yes I think you're unlikely to find a pointer (it exists but it's damn hard to find).

If and only if you still can't find a pointer, what is the game's name (if it is not online) and what are you trying to hack?

Tip: when you used "find out what writes..." you probably had results like "mov [e**+HexNumber],e**". You can input this HexNumber in "pointer path must end with" to make scanning a bit faster.

It's the facebook game Marvel: Avengers Aliance. The only hackable part appears to be my team's health and stamina during battles. I am trying to find the values of my team's health fast since the opponent can sometimes one-shot me.

You can check what writes the HP,
And create hotkeys to NOP it and restore (Make an Auto Assemble) script.

I've tried to make 1 hit hack && no damage taken for this game.
But never found any static 'structure'.

Also, pointers won't work here (I assume).
Offsets are changing from battle to battle or from reload to reload.
