Hello guys, I'm one of those people who is in a government program at the moment and the only internet is heavily blocked. Youtube, Facebook, everything good in this world. Its all through ethernet too. Which takes me to my point. Me and my friends are rad minecrafters and the only way to play is through setting up an ad hoc network then playing LAN on minecraft. My only problem is that for some reason I cant seem to be able to support 3 people on my ad hoc network. When me and my friend are playing a game and then my other friend connects to my network it kicks my friend out of the game and neither can reconnect. Is it a problem with my network card or something? Playing LAN through a router works fine in the past but there are no routers here :U _________________
So on one computer you create a Wireless Ad-Hoc network? And then the two others connect to it? Check which IP address each of the computers receive when connecting so there is no conflict. Also experiment with the encryption and channel settings, perhaps use an app on your phone to find the freest channel. And try some other game than Minecraft to ensure the problem does not lie there. Make sure there is no issue with the positions of the computers, don't have them too close and not too far away either.
