How did I get start?
First I used to scan like every noob... 4byte*1 or *8 or *8+6 or as double type ( i play flash games so float never was used yet).
After that moved to assembly, was WAY better and much easier (could start using AoBscan commands), from here when I wanted to share my work with others, I've started with .CT, but nobody understood how to use them, so I moved to trainers, used firstly C.E trainer generator, was easy and bad because couldn't choose to what process to attach, so at this point I started to digg in gogole&youtube, didn't found how to make advanced trainers.
So started to use main.lua and this forum (used search for each command that seem to me interesting), until I got the basics, now I don't even have to open the forum in order to understand how&what to do in order to use these commands =).

Currently Im working on a bit noobish program, but would allow my website members to generate a easy trainers (no attaching*)
It will be released maybe today or maybe tomorrow.
its pretty simple.

Cool! You read my mind. I really wanted to know how you started. "assembly" this word scares me. Going to learn about it. But, honestly, I want to learn about packet sniffers, this is my real interest.

Download Wireshark and start experimenting, that's one of the best ways if you ask me. Also download this program and try to recreate some of the traffic you see or make interesting packets of your own. Of course it is best to start with a good understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet and some application level protocols.

Wow... This is very good. I was going to use WPE Pro at all. Thanks for posting. Now I'm going to find some introduction guide.

Actually for editing packets and doing practical work with packets sent from games WPE Pro is better. However Wireshark can give a good introduction to packet sniffing and you can learn a lot just from looking at the traffic. So I think that is a good first step before delving into packet editing.

I'm going to try my best to learn this. And I do not know anything about TCP/IP, Ethernet or protocols.
