Cheat Engine

Synopis

I've been having this problem for about a week or so. I generally thought it was just a simple bug that would go away after a bit but after I did some more testing it seems like it didn't. I tested it with Dark Souls and Dragon Age Origins. Some other games were rather fine like Torchlight 2 and Supreme Commander. I went ahead and uninstalled 6.2 and did a clean install and it came back. I also went a head and installed 6.1 and it still did it.

Perhaps the ct is for a different version of the game

Nope. They're all the right version. Dragon Age hasn't been updated ever since Nov 28th 2011. The cheat table I use for Dark Souls is for my version of the game which I don't think even had a update.

Does it also crash if you just switch to Cheat Engine, don't load any ct, and then go back to the game ?
If so, it might be a faulty graphics driver(or card). In that case, run the game in windowed mode

It only "crashes" whenever I alt tab out and open a CT then select the process. Although I found the problem... RadeonPro which to be honest I'd rather keep open mainly due to the vysnc option (CCC's is pretty shit) and I have to constantly re-install it whenever I restart the application and my computer.

I resolved a non-related but similar issue for an older game by running it in compatibility mode for Windows XP.
