|
|
A) Automatic [DISABLE] part of CE Framework Code
When you're auto-assembling you probably want to use the Cheat Table Framework Code (the feature which lets you disable a script by including the [ENABLE] and [DISABLE] statements). Almost all the time you'd deallocate newmem, copy-paste the address that you're changing (with a colon at the end) and then copy-paste the original content.
Example: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=4868 .
I simply suggest CE will do this automatically if you just include a [DISABLE] at the end.
A second option is to let Cheat Engine include the [DISABLE] part from the Cheat Table Framework Code menu item along with the [ENABLE] & [DISABLE] statements.
B) Dissect Data/Structures Filters
99% of the time I find myself deleting all the addresses that Cheat Engine doesn't mark with purple (because what isn't purple is irrelevant most of the time) in the dissect data/structure window.
I suggest that Cheat Engine would have filters to either hide or delete addresses according to colors. (Maybe like toggle buttons at the top with different colors which are pressed by default, and releasing them would hide the selected color).
P.S. A minor suggestion: Remove the comments from the "Code Injection" template. I think it's better off with the rest of the documentation (like in the help file, threads, articles, CE wiki and such).
I really hope this thread would be taken under consideration, it would be a big time and effort saver. Thanks

For A, first do a cheat table framework followed by a code injection script template. CE will automatically fill in the disable section
B, i'll look into it

Wow I always wondered about the first thing too.
How come I didn't knew about this. Afaik this isn't in the help file!
There are lots of "secret" but immensely helpful features in CE

Yeah I so get where you're coming from about the undocumented secrets, hehe.
Let's hope we'll get a full one some day.
