VS2012+WDK8 on win8 x64, any driver project is able to be signed with WDK Test certificate automatically during build. but, when adding this certificate to personal or root store - windows still tells that the driver is unsigned. wtf?

You need to boot up windows into test signing mode

Downside is that the desktop shows " test mode " in all corners
