Cheat Engine

Hey! I'm new here, so I apologize if I break some norms. I'm trying to use Cheat Engine for mac to raise my money/gems. I can find the address, but upon changing the value, the value just changes back and shows no difference within the actual game. Is there any way someone could figure it out?

Assembly.
Check what writes to that address > Inject your own Assembly script.

Thank you for the reply! I don't really know anything about assembly, or injecting assembly script. I'll try to find more information, but could you point me in the right direction? I don't mean to take up your time, but I'm just very ignorant of how to do these things.

Also, I really DON'T know, how assembly shown in Mac or how it works.
But anyway, try this:
Find your money address, Right Click, Find out what Writes to this address, spend some money, you'll see any opcode in the new window, now press on dissambler, then press Ctrl+A > template > Code Injection > ok.

Now you should see few lines..
Look for the label originalcode: and below it you'll see assembly opcodes.
you can change them, add to it or reduce from it.

Thanks! When I click "find out what write to this address," nothing shows up. I've confirmed that I've found the money address, but I don't know what to do from here. I don't know what code to write, and I am unsure what you mean by "> template > Code Injection > ok.".

Any help would be appreciated!
