I downloaded cheat engine the other day and it seems to be a very useful tool. I'm trying to hack a game(I'm not supposed to mention which), however I know nothing about memory, lua, dll, or assembler. I tried reading some of the "easy" tutorials and I still had no clue what they were talking about. Could someone please send me a link to one that explains everything?

For a start I highly recommend you to do CE tutorial and if you didn't understand it then you are welcome to ask about it here.

I tried the tutorial. I got past the few scanning questions in the beginning and then it started talking about pointers(WHAT???). After that I was all confused.

If you are trying to hack an online game, none of the tutorials will teach you that. Most data in online games is server-sided and the only things hackables aren't really that much useful.

However, if its a single player game, i'd suggest trying out the Cheat engine tutorial. Its a wonderful program that explains everything step-by-step and should get you started. ITs comes with ce installation, just look in the folder.
