Okay, I'm pretty new to Cheat Engine.
So, what I'm trying to do is change my in-game name.
I found a way to do this by scanning for my username as a string and editing the addresses with the value of my username, however my username still displays correctly for all of the other players. How can I make it global?

You can, by simply changing it in their PC's too.

Its actually way simpler and easy.

Just change you username in game settings, boom everyone will see your new name.

The reason you can't "hack" your name is because its stored at the server and it just sends it to everyone thats playing the game. Your name can't change during the game so its NOT stored in client computers.

Why would you want to hack your name though when most games allows you to change your name before the game starts ?
