Cheat Engine

I have windows 8 which does not support dune 2000 very well but some how i can play it but now see it

Step 1 switch on the game
Step 2 minimise the game
step 3 use cheat engine
step 4 go back to game and play

After step 3 when i go back the screen goes blank even when not using cheat engine

SO IS THERE IS A WAY TO AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE THE MEMORY AFTER EVERY FEW SECONDS.

Try to have a view with both windows opening it; I've experienced the same thing with portal 2, even while not cheating, meaning it's not really a Cheat Engine issue but the game itself... :S
