Hello, I am using network scan for the first time and it is taking a lot of time in the first scan value (17 minutes for the first scan), it's still scanning while I write this.

I have an sg3 with Android v 4.1.2 rooted and I have followed this steps:

1) I have copyed "ceserver-linux_arm_android" into /system/xbin with "su" and then executed it.

2) In CE 6.2, Hit the Network button and Found the sg3 IP. Click on it and get all the process names. (Ninja Fruit is what I use as tutorial because I have use it with Game Guardian and It's easy to change some of its values), so I select "00003386-app_process com.halfbrick.fruitninjafree" from the list.

3) I hit on the process and start my first scan. After 20 minutes, it shows 0 results for a regular value of '2'.

So what am I doing wrong? by my experience using CE it should have thrown thousands of results but not 0 in first scan.

What sometimes helps is before you make a connection set the process affinity of the cheat engine client to only 1 cpu core. (Multithreading will not speed up scanning on a wifi connection, the bottleneck there is the network speed. a 1GBit connection or faster is really recommended for the ceserver utils)

Another thing, try to prevent your screen from going black during the scan

I'm also not sure if you can setup the USB on android as an internet capable connection

I haven't found the options to set the client affinity to only 1 cpu. Is it before making the connection to server or before clicking the process?. Could you please put the necesary steps?

open the task manager
find the cheat engine process in the processes tab
rightclick it and choose "set affinity" (or something similar)
deselect all but one cpu

Set it to only 1 CPU and it works like a charm. I have succesfully change 1 value

i also have an sgs 3 and the scan is very, very slow... almost unusable...

Just wait till the wifi technology is progressed so far that you have 5GBit or faster
