Hi all guys,
i'm new to this forum since I never felt the necessity of working around "memory", but I thought now it's about time.
Back to me: i developed in the past several automation programs for several games/utilities, from WoW to Grepolis, from D3 to Poker games.
Always used AutoIt (me bad I understand just few VB).
In the last year I worked to Magic: The Gathering Online (MTGO) and developed a Trading Bot based on Imagesearch, mousemove and OCR (I bought license for a SDK DLL OCR to embeed). Everything done for V3.0 of MTGO.
Now MTGO started Beta of 4.0 and obviously my work need to be completely redone. But this time I'd like to move on another layer: I'd like programming bsasing everything on memory reading and writing.
I want to get rid of pixels, mouse moving, ocr'ing and so on.
First consideration: Bots are allowed on MTGO, they are not against EULA and are widely used. I already have servers, DBs, eCOM site and whatevere needed to manage an online sale and management.
What I have and what I need: I have full knowledge of the prodct and of the "strategy" of the bot. I have everyday-updated prices, I can continue working on AutoIt platform.
What I need: I need help working with memory. I have absolutely no clue on how to work with addresses, pointers, offsets and so on.
I'm asking here if there is someone interestes and/or that already knows how to manage these datas on MTGO.
My idea is to starting re-engineering my old bot with new memory-based technology and release it before summer.
Please let me know what you think, if someone can help and not on private messages (at least not now): I'd rather having ideas on how people thinks about that.
For moderators: forgive me if this post is in a wrong area and please move it to a better one if needed.
Thanks everyone,
Mark
