You aren't doing anything wrong,you just have to contiune.After clicking what writes to this address you saw a thing like "mov [eax],ecx" it means move the value of ecx to the address that holds the value eax.Fortunately it doesn't have any offsets so it'll be more simple to do it.Now search for the value of eax in hexdecimal.There should be only 1 result,now click "add address manually" button and after that check the pointer box.Now write the address that you found to the blank for pointer.Leave the offset 0 because your value eax didn't had any offsets.then click ok and ta da! You are done! :3
In fact,that was the hard way,you could just use the pointer scan for this address button
Btw I recommend you to solve the tutorial,if you do this you won't need any of videos to find the pointers and stuff,besides the tutorial shows stuff about AutoAssemble.
