Cheat Engine

I just started cheat engine today after getting curious when my brother was trying it... (Massive failure) Anyway, I tried to use this on a game called 'Bloons Tower Defense 5' today and when i searched for the initial amount of money that I had, a whole bunch of addresses popped up! I didn't know what one to choose. I've got to step 6 of the tutorial for cheat engine and I didn't get it.

Could anyone tell me a quicker way to find the correct address?

(I've tried buying a unit in the game which would make my money go down, but I just end up with the same amount of results after a search. This worked in the tutorials...)

Ya, I tried that but no search results come up. I know i am in the right google chrome process because I looked in about memory and converted the number next to the game into hexadecimal then found the address that corresponded with the one that I translated into hexadecimal.
