Games in directX looks better than in OpenGL.
Runs faster yeah, but with many less features on the game.

TF2 has the same "features" that would affect FPS :) |
Thats because TF2 uses a low version of directX which OpenGL can do the same in. Anything below dx10 will look about the same in OpenGL.
DX9 is shit tier.

Actually it is extremely poorly optimised and every update takes away more and more FPS from people. You're right otherwise though. For an old game it really does take too much to have a really good fps.
