There are 2 things that bug me on the last picture:
1-The girl's kneecaps look too red imo, as if the recently fell on her knees and they were bloodshot due to the trauma. I know it's a texture issue and you said you could only work on the model, but I though I'd mention it anyway.

2-The horse's armor is aesthetically excellent, but thinking about it, I believe the 4 small neck spikes are going to hurt the rider more than anything else.
(Then again a blonde impaled on the spike of the horse she is riding...hmm... Nope they are definitely doing it wrong.)
