Cheat Engine

hi guys,

Im a newbie with some basic knowledge of C++ programming, Java, html programming, flash...having learned those back in my secondary school days...

Since im graduating from high school very soon, i will be having quite a lot of free time b4 going to college, so im planning to pick up some programming/hacking during the free time that i will be having (since i have always wanted to cheat in online games hehe )

But the problem now is that i do not know how or where i should start in order to learn how to hack an online game proficiently....can anyone give a step by step list of things that i should learn b4 being able to code hacks thx
(eventually i will want to code a hack for a game called wolfteam, something that i have always wanted to do...)


Another question:
btw there was once where i actually did came across a working hack (for a game called wolfteam) that one of my friends bought online. AND if i do rmb correctly the hack only contained a modified .flt file which i believe contains the hacking codes and a .cfg file which i believe is for hack configuration (shortcuts and keys to activate hacks)........the thing is that i do not understand how this hack actually works (with juz a simple flt file he could hack the game o.O) (and actually i dont even know what flt files are for =.=) And based on my understanding of game hacks i thought that game hacking are generally done through dll injections or memory scanning with undetected cheat engines?? can anyone please tell me if they have any idea... what kind of hack this is and how it actually works...(is it a modification of game client or something?)
