Hey all,

This might be silly or redundant but I'm a bit worried.

If you edit your save using CE, I wonder if you can be banned in some shape or form. I know it's not VAC secured, but still.

I edited my $ for my character to 999,999 and I immediately got a bunch of bad-ass ranks due to the $. I'm just worried that this can set off some sort of anti cheat flag.

I don't play with my modded / edited characters online, but the save is still sync'd to steam cloud...

Any thoughts of risks, or not really? I don't plan on making overt edits (HP, shields, damage, etc.), just small edits

It's not a VAC game, so you can't get banned.

The first game was hacked to hell, and there were never any problems.

Actually, if you check the config files it states that VAC is enabled, however it doesn't say this on the steam page or the official website so it may not have been included.

well, makes no sense you get banned.
Its not like if the game had life and own intelligence to say Hey you got lot of money from nowhere, ***, banned!!
So its simple not going to get you banned.
