Hello, I know how to find addresses and offsets, and I know how to use them, I also know there's AoB's that are associated with the addresses, so I know the how, but I don't understand the why. I'm wondering what the job of an address is, and how offsets incorporate with them.

I tried googling an explanation but I just get tutorials on how to find them.
