oh yeah and the 6 out of 14 is rated 1 star while the 20 out of 27 is rated 7 which sounds a lot more reasonable because rating a high quality movie that came out this year 1 star is realistic
imdb fucking puts the most recent user review as the first, instead of the most helpful one, which most likely leads people to believe that the movie is shit. its completely ridiculous.
even without imdb it still makes me mad when someone doesn't understand a movie and uses that to come to the conclusion that it is bad.
i haven't seen Prometheus or the avengers, but I assume the only reason prometheus isn't rated as high or higher, is because its not just a action movie, and has parts where you actually have to comprehend what you're fucking watching, leading so many people to rate it lower because they're fucking dumb.
I wont ever watch the avengers, someone who saw it their 2nd time said they tried looking for product placement and there was a lot of it, and that always distracts me so I probably wouldn't be able to enjoy the movie, unless I watch it with people who have already seen it so i can point out everything to them (I wouldnt do this and ruin the movie if the people haven't already seen it)
and as for prometheus, even though I know you dont have to watch alien movies first , Id want to because I enjoy little details in movies, so ill see it eventually

All I can say about Prometheus is that you WILL want to see a sequel (a sequel to a prequel) after watching it, if you've seen and enjoyed the Alien movies.
And I liked The Avengers a lot, but it is an incredibly simple movie with nothing but awesome action scenes. I appreciate things like that though, especially in comic-book movies. _________________

Yeah it was incredinly simple bit it was thay way because it was supposed to be a family gilm that all age audiences could enjoy in which they did a good job.
