that can help me make this more compact?

The wooden pressure plate makes it so the door stays open. The stone pressure plate opens the door normally (as in, open as long as it's triggered) AND removes the permanent open state that the wooden pressure plate sets.

Made it so the stone plate = permanent door open

wooden pressure plate = close door instantly

if interested, I'll upload more screenshots so you can see the design better.

Not really what I wanted, but thanks for the effort.

In my design, both pressure plates open the door like normal, except the wooden one makes the door stay open, and the stone one resets it back to normal.

I'm just guessing but I'm sure that can be done in like 4 square blocks.

If you can have a wall to the left of the door, my design would meet your expectations.

Well, no, since it becomes a one way door. If you stand on your wooden pressure plate, you can't go through the door anymore. The door remains closed. Or I'm seeing yours wrong.

Tried it on your server. Mine's build exactly the same, but locks me out.
Maybe I put on the door wrong.

So you want a door where you walk through one way and it stays open but you walk through the other way and it closes normally?

Yhep. One side, the door remains open, so you don't have to go through in a hurry, but the other side acts like a normal pressure plate would. (so, also closing the door)

Bit more compact than what you had, not as much as I'd hoped for though.
If this is what you wanted I'll give you the map file or start a server or something.

Slightly different than what I wanted, but worst of all, exposed wires!

(different as in, if you walk on your stone plate again, it'll stop being open permanently)

But I updated mine and I can fit it in my module now, so it's all k.
