I have countless notebook filled with my drawings and artwork and it's amazing how much I've progressed through the years. It's really cool to see.

Also, I found my old Final Fantasy Legend for my gameboy. No idea what happened to my gameboy though. I'm sure it's around.

Edit edit: And now I present to you at the expense of myself a story I wrote one day when we lost electricity. I was 14 or 15.

The moon barely lit the sky anymore. It seemed as though the
worlds ceiling was being devoured by the gluttonous darkness. All was
quiet, nothing moved. Even the mighty winds seemed to submit to
the calmness. Amongst the melancholy of the night, footsteps
echoed throughout the trees. They made the calmness quiver
and the dark gloom flee.
It was a man who was running, with a look of determination upon his face.
Long, shaggy, ungroomed hair moved chaotically as he continued in his unrelenting sprint. In
the distance a modest looking house came into sight. It was
bright, as if it was a sign of hope.

As the man approached the house he seemed to relax more
and more know that his vigorous running was about to pay off.
He stopped before the door and prepared himself by fixing his hair
and wiping the sweat from his brow. Now in the light his apparel
seemed to be that of a nobleman, the luxurious clothing didn't match
his unshaven face, nor his shaggy hair. Unable to contain his
excitement or wait any longer his hand jolted for the door and opened it with a
grin on his face. In front of him sat his love, the woman he dreamt'
of every night, the one who could never be replaced within his heart.

And then the power came back on.
This was the first and only time I have ever tried to write something that wasn't mandatory.
