Nia wasn't the saddest for me, dunno why. I loved her character and missed her dearly but I didn't get very sad, maybe because Simon didn't and because it was explained straight after.
Saddest for me was probably the last half of Clannad: AS (you know what the fuck I'm talking about) or the last episode of Tasogare Otome x Amnesia.
