| Everything is awesome except for the people. Friendly social people are rare here. Autocorrect even changed social to spoil, the fuck. If people ask youhow you are or where you're from, they're not really interested in that, they're trying to sell you something. I love how there is free wifi everywhere. And it's funny how most of the bandshirts they sell here don't have anything to do with the band. Like, they sell these flashy hardcoreish Metallica shirts. I love Spencer's, and Hot Topic is actually pretty good. For a place where're drinking age is 21 and weed is so strictly illegal, they sell a lot of drinking and smoking related shit.

I'm going to Dallas next.
I take back what I said about the unsocial people thing. Somebody explained to me that in cities where people live close to each other, they tend to have like a small 'personal space bubble', and that in places where they live further from each other they tend to need more personal space. And since I'm from a touristic city where people live very close to each other, and I'm just an overly social guy to begin with, it seems to me like everybody here is unsocial to each other. Normal people here just don't tend to start conversations with strangers, while salesmen do because they start conversations with everyone :p

It's humid because it's on the coast... every city like that is going to be humid. And traffic there is just as bad as any other big city.
