I'm trying to hack The Guild 2 Renaissance's XP and Level with Cheat Engine.

The way the game's level system works is like this:
1. You get XP for doing stuff, however this XP won't add to your level progress
2. You spend the XP to increase talent points
3. The XP you spent in increasing talent points will now add to your level progress

E.g.
You were level 1 with zero XP. You killed a guy and got 100XP. You spent 75XP to increase one talent point. And now your level progress is 75/1100.


When I'm trying to get infinite XP(so to get unlimited talents, and highest level which is 10) I search for the XP used in getting talent points.
I increased the XP but the XP in level progress drops at the same time.

For example my current XP is 500 and the level progress is 100/2000. If I use cheat engine to increase the XP to 550 the level progress will become 50/2000. If I increase it to 1000 the level progress will become 0/2000(the real value is actually negative but it'll show as 0).
However if I decrease the XP to -500, the level progress will increase to 1100/2000.
If I lock the address the level progress will drop to zero as soon as I add any talent point.

With a situation like this I can still get unlimited talent points but never to level 10. The only way to get both is first getting enough XP to level 10 legitmately but this kind of defeats the purpose of hacking.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this?
