i am new here, i have few question want to ask about cheating games.
i am playing online game,

i am using CE 6.2 try to this game.
try searching item i want n change the value i want it n then buy it
this is what i do:

type value 900 with Exact Value n 4 bytes
found :132
so i try found 1 by 1 use change value, n this is what i got :

i try use "browse this memory region

after that i try change

note : 84 is value 900 ( edit, n change 1 byte to 2 bye value 900)
i thought if i change 900 to 0 value will become 0 too, n i check it, value is really become 0, but when i try to buy this item, i cant buy it, value already change to 0
what's the reason i cant buy it ???

this is a first time i use CE, i learn this from tutorial, but i dont understand whats the meaning of this.


i try cheat my gold too, use a same way, i can change my gold, but cant use it.
when i log out my gold change back again.
please help me,

Your method is too advanced..

I don't know whether it work in online game.

But for searching an item and change it's value or hacking gold/money are no need to do all of this thing.. Unless of course if the value change randomly or need to use the pointer.

Just search the value and add it into your shorlist, then change into desireable value..

After you search the value for the first time, you got 132 addresses right?

Then go back to your game, and just buy or do something that can make the value of your item or gold changed into another value..

Then enter the new value of your item or gold into cheat engine and click next scan this time..Then address will decrease..

Do this until you got only 2-3 address..If you are lucky, you just got one correct address..

Then double click it to add it to your shortlist below the scan..

Then change the value or freeze it if you like...

That's it.

search the value n add to the shortlist below, then change value
that method is work. i change the value from 900 to 0 in CE shortlist, the value in game also change to 900 to 0. but when i want to buy that item with the price is 0. i still cant buy that even i have money in there.
the same with my gold too, i can change my gold in game from 500k to 5 million, but i cant use it to buy something value offer 500k. so i thought, i can change the value but i cant use it, so just for SHOW.

question is why i can change the item value in game, but cant buy that item??

whats pointer?? how to use it ? n why have to use pointer??

What does your game says when you try to buy it?

What byte did you use to find that address?

From what i know, the pointer can be used when you try to find the base address..Meaning, the address that you found from the scan is randomly changed by the game and etc..

If you want to learn it more, settle with the cheat engine tutorial.. Read the description so you can understand it...

Beside, there are more other tutorial in google for cheat engine. Lot of expert cheater out there provide good tutorial.

Note: I'm also have encounter problem with online games before except flash game.

when i try to buy that item, "Insufficient Platinum. The trade has been cancelled! Your Platinum has been returned."

i type value 900
then choose Exact Value 4 bytes to search that address.
randomly change by the game and etc?? whats that mean??

Well i'm not really sure about this because i'm not an expert with cheating online games..But i can assume that, the server will do whatever to return the valur into default..(I think)..

Let's try this..

Start your search again using the same method..
This time try to find two or more addresses that have relation with each other..

What i mean by this is, from my experience, when i want to find an address for my item, sometimes i got two to three addresses that have the same value. Then i copy all that address to my shorlist and try to change the value from one of the addresses to see the difference. I notice that, all three value change into same value, but some address don't. So i need to change it manually.

So in your case, MAYBE, you need to find the address that link with each other. Then maybe you can see the difference.

If it's also not working, give me the name and where you play this game. I hope it won't tell me to register in order to play the game.
