Hello. I want to try to make my units during the battle invulnerable (so they can'e die). I have found adresses of number of units (eg. I have 25 pikemen). But with those adresses there is one "simple" problem: Eg. I have 25 pikemen, my enemy hits them and I should lose 10 of them, but they are still 25. All pikemen HP is 250. But when enemy hits with more than 250 HP, they all die, and can't get up, so freezing value of their number, where much stronger enemy can still kill them is pointless. I tried to search adress of max HP or of actuall HP but I couldn't do that with normal 4 bytes scan. Can someone help me? I want to try to do it by myself, so you can help me by another version of HoMM 3, I just want to make that not just number of units is freezed but also units' HP is also freeze, so even 1 pikeman can't be killed by 10000 angels. Please help.

Not really sure. I know how you can make your pikemen stack 1000+ (just move the stack with another one and find it that way)

Perhaps you didn't find the real health value but only the display value for the health. Perhaps it's stored as total damage taken, or it's stored as a float

I tried to search also as a float and I tried to serach total HP not just the display one but it didn't work.

My guess is that it does not subtract anything if it's over, it just kills the stack.

Consider this:

Code:
if (damage > stacksize*unithp)
{
    kill_stack();
}


instead of

Code:
stackHP = stacksize*unithp;
stackHP -= damage;
if (stackHP < 1)
{
    kill_stack();
}


Which means you probably have to find this compare and change it or nop it.
