my grandfather is a Jehovahs witness and so is most of my family believes in their stuff but dont actively participate in the stuff so I know a lot about it. its not the most ridiculous religion for sure, but some of the shit is absolutely stupid. they believe that magic exists and is the work of the devil. when I was a kid they took my yu gi oh cards away because they thought they were evil, and I also couldnt watch the digimon movie where the guy fucks with the subway signs and it says 666.
but since we've moved from my grandparents house my mom and step father dont actively study or anything so I dont hear about religion from them, and since I dont do any social shit I just forget that religion exists. |

I have all the books, and have personally read most of them. Up until around a year ago I was going to the meetings both times every single week. I'm 18 now, what I've learn from the bible was my life and studying the books was also part of that. My parents get every single new magazine that comes out. I still go to the meeting quite regularly but I'm not sure what to believe anymore.
Just to give you an idea of how involved I was. I have never once had a birthday party or even celebrated a holiday of any sort. And to this day I haven't and probably never will.
Also, I don't consider myself to be one of them because I'm not baptized. I'm saying this because the ones I know are all better people then I'll ever be and I don't want to give them a bad name.

did you know they also dislike math? One of the meetings I went to they discussed a math question and how it was evil because math questioned the origins of life.
oh yeah and haven't you learned its all bullshit by now. seriously I literally stopped believing that shit when I was 10, though I kept studying until recently because I enjoyed reading some of the ridiculous shit that can come up in the books, like what I posted, where it pretty much advises you to get rid of everything related to spiritism which is a very broad term that can go from everything to an after life to magic to fucking aliens.
when they discuss evil shit like ouija boards, they refer to them as magic, and letting yourself open to evil spirits. even though the ouija board has been a known hoax for forever
I dont go yelling at religious people or try to spread my atheism, I dont care if people believe in religion, I just merely look down upon them, very very much so. if someone believes in religion ill happily talk about it with them unless they get angry that im hardcore atheist.
