Create a restore point if you're afraid they will.

sadly some people do steal off their family and friends, I knew someone who did it all the time, thieving little bastard he was,
was just saying its a risk and hoped he wasnt going to. he says he won't so thats good enough for me as its not my pc he wants to put the keylogger on anyway,
password account for himself and system recovery are enough really,
a keylogger log will take a lot of looking through to discover system changes,
also you would want a keylogger that monitored mouse events as well if you wanted to track installs

well I dont know whats up with just stopping them changing it by making it password secure,.
you say if they do anything bad ??? and you want to keep track of what they do you want a keylogger,
if your that worried why not go the extra mile and put another partition on your pc that they can use and do what they like without messing up your owm windows partition,
just make it so you have to enter your password to log on to your windows partition but they dont have to log onto theirs,
reason for them not having to type in a password is that people naturally take the easy root and will click on the one you dont have to piss about typing passwords in...
anyway I'm out of here I said all that I will add to this

Well sir, i learned about this nifty little program called ghost spectre pro from watching the Tyra Banks show lmao. I'm not going to post any warez, but what the program does is take a video of the screen, and you can see EVERYTHING that the person did and view it later. The only bad part is that it is VERY poorly coded, and will appear on almost all anti-virus programs if your parents ever decide to run one.
SO, look for ghost spectre pro, download it, and the rest is pretty self explanatory. I removed it from my computer, because now the computer belongs to me and no-one else so it's password protected... no need to worry about others snooping around.

I have a 9 year old son. I just bought him a MacBook Pro as his birthday present last week. Now I need a keylogger to monitor what he has done with his computer. I don't want him access those inappropriate content on the internet.

Well that was quite a bump (look at the posts before yours date), but Keyloggers for Mac computers are far less common.
However, there is a new product that was recently released and will do everything you need and much more.
http://www.worldwiredlabs.com/netwire-features/security/
The price is also quite good.

This is beyond offtopic for me, but why the fuck did you buy a 9 year old such an expensive piece of technology? Unless your child is a genius, something a LOT cheaper would have been fine and you won't feel as bad when the damn thing gets broken.
