How do I cheat?

| My cheat engine wouldn't start up when i was trying to open it, so i uninstalled/reinstalled, now when I get a working version, it says windows.exe has stopped working, and it lags out my computer. Yet that's only happened one time and it was the only time anything has happened, other than that, all that happens is when I try to open it (yes even as admin) absolutely nothing happens, and IDK why, can someone assist me?

First do a virus scan, since windows.exe sounds more like a virus/trojan than anything else.
Then reboot your computer and download a clean copy from this website (cheatengine.org, no other site)
And make sure you have no online game running
If it still won't work (and no online game is running) then disable your firewall and anti virus. It could be they are interfering
