Cheat Engine

I'm new to cheat engine and I've toyed around with the values and scantypes I've also completed the tutorial a few times I've gone through countless pages upon pages of tutorials and helpful posts, BUT they just are solving the problem I keep running into. And that is, not being able to find the addresses to change, or to create a trainer, or a cheat table for flash games or pc games. Another issue i'm having is when i try attaching the debugger to find what writes/accesses addresses. I'm getting a little irritated with this. I may have missed the answer or some silly mistake. If anyone can give me any advice at all that would be greatly appreciated!

1. Since you are new. Don't go after the more complex games first. It will frustrate you to the point of giving up.
2. Doing the tutorial is a good start sometimes.
3. Try cheating some of the smallest dumbest games. The best ones yu already have on your PC. "Minesweeper"
4. Get a tutorial you can follow step by step and stay with it. Do not rush.
5. There are other small games all over the Internet that are free or demos. Get some and don't stop till you found something. The best is to get one that has a step by step tutorial.

Thanks for your advice! I have another question when cheating on flash games a bunch of posts have said I have to multiply by 8 to get to the address I want to change is this true? I have Version 6.2.

Only for old flash games that use as2.Also the flash section has a custom type you can use to do the bitshift of 3 for you
