Lets say a game like grand theft auto or deadrising , or deadisland that has enemies running around how would you find their health to disect data and do other stuff with it?
easy to find your health but how would you on them coz searching unknown and decrease or has changed not changed doesnt cut it down low enough and when they die you stuffed?
any tips would be appreciated

what i do is first find my health to make myself invincible. I then pick off all but one enemy. After that i do a search for the enemy health.
Depending on the game this next step will help find other enemies. keep that one enemy close to you and pointerscan. If the game shows info about the enemy while looking at them the look at them, pause, then pointer scan. Kill off the enemy and find a new lone enemy to find the health of. Get close, and possably freeze while lookign at them, and pointerscan again.
If you are lucky you will be on your way to a pointer that effects either the enemy closest to you or the enemy you are currently loooking at. With this info you can branch it out further. By easily browsing the memory of different npcs you could find identifiers and then do an assembly code.

Give yourself god mode and then find a single zombie. Do an unkown value search, punch zombie, decrased value, punch, search, etc. till you find the health of that one zombie.
Once you have that one zombie's health you can either try to do a what writes to it and make an assembly code to force their health to 1 or you can do a pointer scan of the health while looking at the zombie.
If you are good with assembly then i would say go the assembly route.

| usually ALL of their health addresses will be pointed to by a base address. Get that base address and write a c++ script for it (idk how to do it just by using c.e alone)
