How do I reset it? I have a partition of Ubuntu running too (Which I'm on right now) and a DVD with W7 on it.

reboot, get to login screen, hit cad twice to get to the classic login screen, type in username administrator, leave password empty, pray you/someone didn't set a password

then obviously go to user accounts and reset yours

I have fixed this issue for my sister. Its not a incredibly hard task but it requires the windows 7 recovery menu. You can use the disc for this, by booting it and clicking recovery.

After this is done you can just do it backwards sort of to hide the admin again. Basically you enable the hidden admin and delete your own password.

all it requires is a quick burn to a cd, or even usb drive.

easiest way is OPH crack, download, burn, boot with it & it'll fire an os up and the password-sniffer automatically, you just basically sit back and wait for it to output your password
