the cube has less surface area
therefor a cube is more efficient than a sphere in terms of thermal loss
why the fuck are submarines round

Because it looks ugly and army is srs bsns.
Imagine going in a submarine that's looking like a cube, you'd be mocked like hell by the opposition.

Cube with vol = 1 = (1*1*1)
Surface area = 6 = (1*1)*6
Sphere with vol = 1
1 = 4/3(pi)r^3
r is about 0.2668
Surface area = 4(pi)(.2668)^2
Surface area = 0.8945

Dude youre the dumbest piece of shit here.
Water and air act alike, aerodynamics apply with water too

no it doesn't. hydrodynamics apply to water. Aerodynamics, by definition, is strictly air. They share similar ideas because they're both subsets of fluid dynamics, but aerodynamics cannot be directly applied to water.
So you're quite the dumb piece of shit as well.

Water and air act alike, aerodynamics apply with water too | i can't believe this is needed to be made clear, but
aerodynamics: motion in air/gases
hydrodynamics: motion in water/liquids

Anyways a submarine has to be that.
