If you got an android, then you're gonna be happy with this
There's an app that I found called Lucky Patcher (Latest version here)
Basically what it does is scans every app you have installed. If it contains Market License check (Note: Does not apply to in-app purchases), or Google Ads, it will give you an option to automatically patch it. In other words, you can get any uncracked apks, and crack it with a few clicks.
I've been testing it, and it works flawlessly with like every app!
If you want to test it, get that installed, then get the app called Tasker (Download from here), then patch it using Lucky Patcher. After 20 minutes is up (This is on Taskers part), you can go into settings and see that the app was successfully validated.
Bumping because contrary to Cryoma's stupid post it's useful for almost all Androids.
Outside of the fact that it's on par with saying this is useless because you need to be jailbroken (everybody is wtf even), the newest wave of Android phones are designed for and generally support rooting. My phone's warranty isn't even voided because Google openly supports it.
Anyways, just got this and used it to take Google Ads off a lot of apps wherein it is overly intrusive, and it works like a charm! I also custom patched my TitaniumBackup and cracked the licenses on a few apps :3 _________________
Well SORRY for being too poor for the latest generation of phones.
You don't need a "latest generation phone", there are very VERY few android phones that can't be rooted. I will guide you myself if needed, what phone do you have

has good instructions. Just follow the steps. You only need follow the "Rooting the HTC Incredible" part; the "Flashing CyanogenMod" part would completely change the OS, for the better IMO but it's more of a hassle.
There's no real risk, just don't do anything retarded like yanking out the USB mid-root. I had to use an older version of Unrevoked for my Desire, but try the latest first.

I've tried all of the above except changing the os, even after it says it's done nothing is different when I boot up.

Honestly, I think you're screwing up somewhere, or you're downloading the wrong files.
Try to just spend 30 minutes to google and find a root for your phone.
I have the droid incredible 2 (Which was much more secure and took like a month or so to root), and I was able to root it. The droid incredible can easily be rooted if you take time out of your day to try.
yo i b 22 tryna make it in dis rap game but da steetz dont got luv for no wun na mean so im out hea tryna holla at da fams on dis innernet shit u no way i sayin
