Cheat Engine

Hello, as you can see, I am a complete noob to CE. I only know basic Exact value kinda stuff. But there is a game called Mount & Blade: Warband, and there is a mod that for it that I am quite fond of. It is a multiplayer mod, and it is full of killers, robbers, and it is very difficult to earn money. I follow the basic steps to try and change my monetary value inside the game. I click the little computer thingie in the corner, click Mount & Blade, type in my money, let's say 42, Exact Value, 4 bytes. I search, come up with a lot of results. I drop 1 dollar, so I type in 41, next scan, I then come repeat to come to 3 values, all of which are the same. I chose one to try to change it to 100, it changes back to 40. Same thing with the other value. I then chose one to 100, and it stays that way in Cheat Engine. It also shows 100 in the game. So I try to buy a 78 dollar weapon, but my money display thingie both in CE and the game have change back to 42. How can I make it stay to 100? Any help would be much appreciated.

That will only work in singleplayer, sorry.
