Fucking origin already has the preorder. I'm seriously thinking about just not buying games on steam anymore. They keep falling behind.

At this point they are more well off than steam. I'm sick of buying "steam version" of a game and then steam is behind on patches and dlc while the should be shittier versions like GFWL or otherwise retail already have it.

I'm still waiting for steam to get the DLC for Street fighter x tekken, while the retail version straight up from microsoft/origin have it already.

Newer retail games from EA force you to use Origin.

EA has plenty of good games, and I hate that they do. Alice was the first retail game I bought where I learned that Origin was forced.

Really not so bad using origin. I took the hit and got the Dragon Age pack through amazon. Everything went over fairly smoothly and now I have around 10 or so game on origin. I just download in origin, then link it up to a steam shortcut. I get unlimited downloads because of Origin, never having to worry about bothersome securom, and I play with a steam overlay. I don't see any problem here.

I don't even need origin open after I install the damn games lol.
