Cheat Engine

So I grabbed a copy of the old Magic: the Gathering - Shandalar game.

I was trying to use CE on it, however when I try to alt-tab to CE, I get the taskbar at the bottom, but the game still stays on screen.

The game runs fullscreen (I don't know how to make it windowed). I can't seem to make CE pop up so I can use it.

Any suggestions?

go to settings->hotkeys and set a hotkey for "popup/hide cheat engine"

Then press that hotkey while playing. If using the default settings it should hide the game's window when you press that hotkey. (and show it again when pressing the hotkey again)

If that's not enough, go to settings->general settings and click more after "hide some/all windows...." and set it to hide/show ALL windows.
Note though, it can really screw up your desktop if ce crashes and require a reboot to get everything functional again
