| No matter what game i play, Cheat Engine will not edit values, or even find them at all. For example, im playing Monsters Den Chronicles, i load the game and am in the middle of the battle and an enemy has 80 health, i load up cheat engine, select firefox plugin container and type in '80' with settings as 4 bytes and exact value. I get 100 80 values, then i attack and his health goes down to 60. I then do next scan for 60 and nothing comes up. I swap over to 2 bytes and type 60, then attack and do a new scan for 40 but nothing comes up. I then switch over to firefox.exe and repeat the same steps and still dont get any results.

Hey!
Try not to find the exact value.
Do a 4 byte first scan of a unknown initial value.
Then next scan for decreased values.
If nothing, try 2 bytes, or float or double.
Sometimes the value you see on screen isn't the same in memory.
There was lots of games I played that showed a integer on screen, but the real value was a float. (It hides the fractional part of the number)

| This has happened alot in the past. You can try changing the value type, but here is what always works for me: Code injection. For example, in Robot Rage (from miniclip) the money value cannot be changed by cheat engine with just basic memory scanning, you need to click "find out what writes to this address" and then "replace with code that does nothing". So why don't you give it a try mate.
