Howdy CE community!

I'm new on forums but have been using CE for a while to replay games more after beating them. I have a good basic understanding how CE works like finding addresses and changing values. I'm far from an expert like some posters i've seen on these forums. I check these forums when i'm lost and i'm looking to see if anyone can help me out with a problem i'm seeing..

CE is crashing when i'm trying to save my data. Sad

As soon as I press the Save button or from "File" it just shuts down on its own. Not sure what's causing it. I've already tried searching this on google and haven't came across any similar occurrences. If anyone has anyone has anything to offer or a way to fix it I'd really appreciate it.

this usually happens when you've installed a shell extension that isn't compatible with 64-bit apps. (stuff that adds new icons and highlights to file browser/explorer)

See if you can find which one isn't working, or run the 32-bit ce version instead

It's working!

I checked back to folder and I was running the regular CE.exe and x86_64.exe to start with. I overlooked the i386.exe and that one lets me save without issues. My apologies. Had I payed more attention to the folder the first time around I would have ran the i386.exe and wouldn't need to post.
