The skull is a shoulder guard. Armor. The horn and the nose ring should be a pretty good hint as to what is what and where things go...

You should start drawing like a scenery as well... not just single monster. Try that, I'd like to see some sort of scene with a demon clashing with another demon/dragon/whatever. It'd be pretty cool
