Have you ever bothered to write a software requirements specification document, or do you just add whatever the hell you feel like into CheatEngine?

As far as I know, CE isn't a system, but a software package. Also it's not about what it runs on, its about what it does.

Yeah, I thought as much. Still was wondering if he did like extremem programmign and just wrote shit down on index cards that he hides around his hovel.

Sure, he hits compile until the errors disappear, then releases to open space as beta. If anyone has any problems, he fixes them sometime that month, hits compile again, and releases as beta again. When theres only complaints about not being able to cheat on MMO games, he releases it as an official release.

i don't know if that's sarcastic or whether you just didn't learn about the different types of automated testing: unit tests, regression tests, etc. i'd be disappointed if you're in what i guess is your second year and you still didn't cover that

That was sarcastic. Also are there even any libs or software for supporting automated testing in a Delphi/Pascal/Lazarus environment?

P.S.: We have not covered testing, in second year we only cover requirements phase.

Depends on what I have planned. For some stuff i do some more extensive documentation, and for other stuff just small pieces of paper that stick under my keyboard
