Who here is book smart? I have extremly, extemly low scores on my school work, and most of the time i don´t even do it, but I score perfects on tests. i has adhd and synesthesia.

"big" in this sense didn't literally mean "size", he meant "big" figuratively, in the similar way that one might say "he's talking big", except in this case "big" means words that aren't easily conquered by small minds

probably compendium. i've never heard it before, and usually people say "you're using big words" to new/rare words

No, compendium is a big word in both senses. I use "big words" to refer to words that are simply uncommonly used.
