Yo bro's help me find the cheapest possible laptops that are semi decent and not netbooks
Dads looking for a new laptop, all he does is stocks and browse internet/news but he also streams HD videos (news, movies).

Price range:
$300-500

CPU:
Core 2 duo +

Preferably in this order
1. ASUS
2. MSI
3. Dell
4. Toshiba

It's going to be shitty, whatever it is :\
I mean I got an acer for $350 that worked brilliantly for work/school, it even played tf2 decently.

Yeah look into acer aspire.
I don't know the exact model or anything but that line has some budget laptops that run well for that sort of use.
