Isolation, convenience, fit, armature drivers, workouts.

Thanks, and earbuds aren't my thing either. Also headphones hurt my ears after extended use. Every pair I've had gets really uncomfortable to the point where I must take them off. |

Yea, I know where you're coming from. I love my V moda m80s, but can only wear them for about 2 hours. I have some cheap Meelectronic M6 earbuds right now that I've(on multiple occasions) worn 6+ hours straight, and literally 10 hours on one of my orientation days without even a hint of pain. I made custom foam tips using the expandable ear plugs you find in construction work. My vmodas are massively superior in sound quality though, so I want to step up my earbuds to get a less jarring transition when I feel like, or need to, use them.
Also, balanced armature drivers are supposed to have some crazy clarity and speed to them. I've never tried them before. My vmodas have spoiled my friends and I with their clarity to the point where they can't listen to their own headphones anymore, and those are normal dynamic drivers.

Can't argue with the free argument. But there are many, many other brands better that aren't over priced, over hyped, over marketed, and shit tier.
And yea, haters. I just grabbed a torrent of tpb in case I want to listen to some random dubstep during a workout, which this pic was taken after. |

| Meh, earbuds. They always hurt my ears in a whole bunch of ways. In general I tend to stay away from devices that blast sound into my ears from a half inch away, I prefer speakers. |

mfw zunes sound much better and drive headphones better than any ipod.
Cant comment on the music lol, just shuffle the ~200 I have in that folder. If crap comes up, it comes up. |
