I need help choosing from these cards:
Asus ENGTX560 DC/2DI/1GD5 1GB GDDR5 256Bit
or
HIS HD 6870 1GB IceQ X
PS: I really don't care about the difference of the prices with these two cards since i could get them for almost the same price, so yeah!

Neither. I feel sorry for anyone buying a last gen GPU when this gen has been released. Go get you a 7850 or 7870.

I can only afford the GTX 560 and the HD 6870 cuz I'm on a tight budget.

Why do people constantly think you need the best cpu/gpu?
I'm on a 4850 and still haven't found a game I can't run smoothly.

I'm on a 4850 and still haven't found a game I can't run smoothly. | You surely have not played many newer games on highest settings. BF3 eats my 6850 alive even with it @ 1000/1100. A very nice OC. Hell it eats up a 6950/70 pretty well too. Saints row the third gets less than 60fps on max on a 6950. I could not even get 60fps on a 4850 playing borderlands. 4850 was a beast in its time but its lost its luster. I gave my old one to my sister just so she could use emulators.

Nothing less than 7800/6800. The 6850 beats the 7770 easily.

If you really cannot afford anything better and do not want to wait to save more, go 6870. Its about 180 right now. But a 7850 is only another 70 bucks. Keep in mind the 7870 only comes in a OC edition, even if its AMD ref.

This one is an OC version of the OC'd 7870. Amazing power it has indeed and the 7950 is over 500 so thats actually decent price for this 7870.

Dunno bout the ATI card but my 560 (that I bought 4-5 months ago) pretty much satisfies my gaming needs & I'm playing bf3, skyrim etcetcetc on max res and decent overall graphics with no fps drop at all.

I heard they were great compared to the old ones. But BF3 hates all hardware anyway. I know a guy with a i7 2600k and a 7970 and he still says the frame rate is kind of touchy.

Sadly I have nothing to compare it with, my friend has a Ti but I'm rolling with an e8400 and he with an i7 so yeah.
Ti has 40 more cores or something and has a little higher clock frequencies, so I doubt there's that much of a MAJOR difference.

As far as I have been told by many Ti owners it makes a bit of difference. But I personally have a 6850 and a massive OC and it seems to do the job.
Price vs performance I think a 6870 is better for OP.
