I'm now aware that the Intel CPU has the integrated graphics, NOT the motherboard. However, it wouldn't be that great, so I decided to get a cheap video card.

Would this build work out correctly?

Just go with a llano build ffs guy, you get plenty of performance that is awesome and for less cost.

GT 240 is outdated and meh. Spend a little extra and get something much more powerful, you will thank yourself later.

Only a tiny bit more, will be significantly more powerful.

If you were planning on factoring the rebate into the overall cost of the build, don't bother. Rebates take more time than they are worth, and will take months to come (if they even ever do).

He's wrong, though.
Everyone is wrong. They all think, I just need it for school or surfing the web, facebook games. Then that fateful day, a game comes out that you just must have and its way better on pc, and then your pc cannot even launch the game.

Thats when you drop 700 bucks on new parts because BC2 was the best FPS you ever played but totally sucked on consoles.
