|
|
I've been hacking a certain game for a while now, I won't divulge any info on it seeing it adds nothing to my question, but in this game there are weapons that are able to level and have its stats increased.
I usually know my way around with CE and find said values. Over time I figured out that weapon details range from 0x0 to 0x00000200, specific offsets for each stat lie in between there.
Now what I'd like, is to be able to have a cheat table, where at one single point I insert the address of one easily findable value of said weapon, which then gets passed along to all the known offsets of the weapon, so everything is easily findable and modifiable.
Pretty much how it works with base offsets of the programs that are running. Like the whole "program.exe"+0xABCDEF48 thing, not sure if I even wrote that right.
tl;dr, I'm a lazy bum that's tired of repeating processes, is there a way to create a cheat table with a template address that adjusts multiple records on changing said template address?

next version you can add child addresses that have addresses written like "+40", which causes it to get the address of the parent, and add 40 to it (works for pointers as well).
So if the top parent address changes all the children addresses change as well
For now, I guess you could use lua to do this. Find the template entry and do the modifications

Next version sounds awesome, any loose estimate for it?
That and I wouldn't have a single clue how to put such a thing in LUA, I'm guessing/hoping it'll be easy, but alas, I have not a single dot of knowledge about it.
