Im trying to hack items into my inventory on FF12 Intentional version and I was wondering how I find item hexes in the giant mess of code that is a video game.

If anyone can give me any insight or help I would greatly appreciate it. Also it doesn't have to be about this game specifically as long as the method works all the same Im equally happy .

Plus info on how to add them to my inventory or whether they have to be "equip" hacked or not would be very nice.

Iv never dealt with FF12 and im not sure if this can even help you but quickbms has a script for extracting one of these games for the ps3.
Its not the same version but maybe the engine is the same, i have no idea of it'l help.

If you scroll down the page you'l see the script, just right click it and save as a .bms of .txt.

If you can get hold of the main files used for the ps3 version, maybe pc files are the same, you can extract them and have a look at all the values.
You'l be surprised what type of hacks you can create when knowing the values. You wont be scanning blind.
