As topic name suggest looking for a tutorial/guide for backtracing something. To give example lets say I cannot find an address for a value that is displayed by a bar. I can find visual addresses for it but not the actual thing.
What I'm interested in are steps to take which could possibly help find what the real address is based on something related to it.
The only thing of note I found was Geris tut on encoding but both example and the main subject completely confuse the hell out of me when it comes to the bit im interested because it mainly relates to encoding and not just looking for something you can't find.
